UX research, design, and strategy
I bring a deep skill set to my work in UX. My experiences in visual journalism taught me to respect the power of research, and to break complex projects into manageable parts. I approach design using a balance of research, visualization, and strategy—and a healthy dose of common sense.
I developed and introduced a set of personas at New York Cares, an organization devoted to volunteerism. The personas help frame recruiting, fundraising and product design.
Sole UX designer on a small tech team that developed a webapp. I researched and wireframed the entire project and chaperoned it from sketches to mature shipped product.
Changing just one step in a process can have a big impact. My content and design skills help move these small projects along, quickly. .
